I think it is very fitting that all but one of these photos shows Tigre on a bed or other soft spot. Truly this was a cat who knew how to live. Our thoughts are with you.
Tigre was gentle and shy. She was the most beautiful cat to me. Her mottled fur, her blue eyes, her white paws, her black tail tip all added up to a cat that everyone wanted to hold. When we adopted her, we were surprised that such a pretty cat had been stray. At that time we didn't know how sweet she was. She was so good. Before the last month or so, she had never made a mess or caused any kind of trouble. The first time she ever threw up, she walked over to a piece of newspaper and puked on it, so as not to make a mess. What a good cat. She slept on my feet, or my hip, or my husband's chest. She kept us warm. Last night, the bed was very empty. My first furry pet. Tigre. I love her. I already miss her.
The first night without her, Pismo scratched at the bed and wimpered. The girls, even today went to the bed and meowed to try and find her. We all miss her.

ReplyDeleteIt's always tough when a good friend leaves us. Mom always thought Tigre was very snuggly. Does Pismo miss her?
